Welcome to the official website of Runcorn Linnets FC.

We are a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and were formed in the 2006 off-season by the fans of the now defunct Runcorn FC (which was playing under the name "Runcorn FC Halton" at the time). Although when we formed we were technically a "new" club, the Linnets were given special dispensation by the FA to be treated as a reformed version of Runcorn FC - the special dispensation was necessary as the old club had simply become dormant, choosing not to field a team, as opposed to ceasing to exist as a legal entity.

We currently play in the Hallmark Security Football League (North West Counties Football League), and were awarded Charter Standard in October 2011.

New 2017 Home Kit Launched

Linnets fans needed to help with essential ground and clubhouse maintenance

Linnets fans are urged to help their club prepare for the coming season by attending two upcoming working parties at the Millbank Linnets Stadium. Help is needed to clean the clubhouse before our pre-season kicks off in a couple of weeks, and to get the stadium looking ship shape before the visits of Witton Albion, Marine and Skelmersdale United in July. Tasks in the ground will include painting, jet washing and general tidying up. Please bring any tools or materials you think may help.

The sessions will take place tomorrow (Sunday 25th June) at 11am and the following Sunday (2nd July) also at 11am.

It's essential that fans turn up and lend a hand. Help us to ensure we have a club and facilities to be proud of.

Make a date for Supporters Club AGM

Runcorn Football Supporters Club's Annual General Meeting will be held at the Union Tavern pub on Wednesday, 19th July 2017 at 7.30pm.

Nominations for the committee must reach the secretary, Mrs Susan Bell, 18 Croasdale Drive, Beechwood, Runcorn, WA7 2RJ, by Wednesday, 5th July 2017.

Admission prices set for home pre-season friendlies

Entry to our home pre-season friendies ahead of the 2017-18 season will be 4 for adults and 2 concessions with accompanied juniors being admitted free.

Four free matches make Runcorn Linnets season tickets even better value

Season tickets for 2017-18 are now available to purchase.

The prices are unchanged at 108 for adults and 72 concessions - they are even better value this coming season as 22 home league games will be scheduled, instead of the usual 21, with the inclusion of Northwich Victoria in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division as a 23rd team.

This now means season ticket holders will receive four free matches instead of the usual three.

Normal match day admission prices at the turnstile will once again be 6 for adults and 4 concessions. Buying a season ticket means useful 'up front' income for your club.

For full details about how to obtain a season ticket through on line purchase or by postal application, please visit the Season Ticket Page.

Invitation to join Runcorn Linnets for our annual Golf Day

Our popular Golf Day at Runcorn Golf Club takes place this year on Thursday, August 17th.

Entries are now open to teams of four and we'd particularly like to see more golfers from among our fan base participating this year in support of the club.

If you are interested in participating but can't get a team together a full team of four, please get in touch through Contact Us as we may be able to team you up with other supporters in the same position.

The Runcorn Linnets Team Golf Competition is on Thursday, 17th August 2017 at Runcorn Golf Club in Clifton Road.

It is an 18-hole Stableford event with tee times from 11.00am and various sponsored holes and competitions.

There will be coffee and light lunch on arrival with a two-course dinner.

Entry is 200 per team of four players.
