Runcorn beat 1874 Northwich in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division at The Barton Stadium with a score of 1-4. 1874 Northwich scored in the 12th minute. 1874 down to 10 men in 19th minute. Freddie Potter equalised in the 32nd minute following a cracking header from a free-kick 40 yards out that was unstoppable. Kristian Holt put the Linnets ahead with a powerful strike from just outside the area in added time of the first half. Stuart Wellstead increased the Linnets' lead in the 89th minute with an awesome shot from just outside the area. Zac Aley extended our lead with a well-taken strike that left the 'keeper planted in added time of the second half.
