Dylan Forth

Position : Goalkeeper

Mancunian goalkeeper Dylan Forth, 21, signed for the Linnets from Stockport Town in March 2018 and went straight into the team for the visit of City of Liverpool, the game being drawn 1-1.

He made a dozen appearances in the back end of our title campaign in The Hallmark Security League Premier Division and won our Millbank Player of the Month award for April after impressing with his all-round quality.

Dylan's skills have been in high demand since signing for Blackburn Rovers from his junior club Clayton Villa as an eight year old.

He had rejected interest from Manchester United (the club he supports), Bolton and Manchester City to move to Blackburn because he had enjoyed his time on trial so much.

Dylan later joined Aston Villa, starring in their Under 18s side and making one appearance for the U23s in Premier League 2.

He has since played for Chester, whom he joined in August 2015, as part of their National League squad prior to his release in January of the following year.

A move to FC United of Manchester followed a spell at Witton Albion and as part of his stint with FC United, he gained valuable experience of playing in the United States.

Dylan has also been on the books of Hyde United and Glossop North End.

Watch out for Dylan touching the crossbar every time he goes in goal it is something he has done for as long as he can remember!

Runcorn Linnets would like to thank Nicholas Royle who has kindly sponsored Dylan Forth.
