10 Jul 2020 : Former Mossley marksman Ryan Brooke targets Linnets success |
Runcorn Linnets' new recruit Ryan Brooke is no stranger to the club - having scored against us for Mossley early last season! The 29-year-old striker is the first player from outside the existing group at The Millbank to be captured by boss Calum McIntyre. Ryan's senior career began at Oldham Athletic where he played in the Football League and had loan spells at Barrow and AFC Telford United. Upon leaving Oldham, after 29 first team appearances, he moved to Altrincham before helping Curzon Ashton into National League North. His first spell of two at Tameside Stadium brought him 41 goals in 121 outings. He returned to Curzon after a stint at Nantwich Town to enjoy 37 further appearances with nine more goals, mostly from midfield. Ryan was Mossley's first summer signing of 2019 and we now welcome him to Runcorn Linnets! |
