Thanks to donations from fans and friends, Runcorn Linnets were able to sprinkle some festive magic in our community.
The club spread cheer by supporting the Halton Toy Appeal and also collecting gifts for local care homes.
The latter was a joint venture with Halton Borough Council's Contracts Team and our fundraising manager Tracey Tinsley visited St Luke's Care Home in Palacefields to deliver toiletries and other gifts for the elderly residents.
Playing Santa, Tracey is seen with our events manager, Ange Murphy and club mascot, Ron Corn before heading to to meet Sarah Millington (St Luke's assistant manager - and a Little Linnet mum!) and Sharyn Rangasamy (activities co-oordinator).
Gifts for the Halton Christmas Toy Appeal were accepted at Kangaroo Self Storage in Widnes prior to delivery.
We are grateful to our fans, who generously contributed to the collections.
