The club is pleased to announce that Kelly Marlow has been appointed Tea Bar Manager at APEC Taxis Stadium.
Although new to the role, some of our fans might recognise Kelly.
She successfully managed our canteen at the recent junior tournament and has worked some shifts on the clubhouse bar.
Kelly, who lives locally and is sales manager for an accountancy firm, will be a big asset to our matchday operation.
She is busy preparing for our return to home action at Tuesday's friendly against Bolton Wanderers Under 23s.
We are sure fans will give Kelly and staff a warm welcome.
Chairman Peter Cartledge said: "We are delighted to have Kelly as part of our team and and she will oversee all aspects of our tea bar operations, being involved both on matchdays and during the week.
"Her duties will encompass the main clubhouse bar and additionally Tex's Tea Bar towards the Forest End which
became operational late last season.
"It was built by club volunteers with materials very generously donated by our main stand and dugout sponsor Webb's Builders Merchants and
named in memory of Tex Janes, the late owner of Webb's.
"We are now looking at a rebrand for our principal Tea Bar in the clubhouse and we will be asking Trust Members to decide on a new name.
"We will continue to offer a range of hot food, drinks and confectionery, although under Kelly's supervision, the menu will continue to evolve."
