Oliver Molloy switches from Charnock to Linnets

Oliver Molloy has signed for Runcorn Linnets from Charnock Richard after appearing against us  in both this season's Emirates FA Cup ties between the clubs.

Oliver started the initial 2-2 draw at Mossie Park, wearing the No.9 shirt, and was named as a substitute for the replay.

He came off the bench in the 83nd minute to score Charnock's equslising second goal in extra-time before Ryan Brooke struck our last-gasp winner at APEC Taxis Stadium.

Oliver joined Charnock in the summer.

He made his debut on the opening day of the 2023-24 NWCFL season at Cheadle Town before pening his account in the first midweek game, away to Squires Gate.

He has appeared 16 times with eight starts and four goals.

Oliver previously played for West Lancashire League side, Fulwood Amateurs.

He joined the Preston-based outfit in 2019-20, in all making 70 appearances with five goals.

Last season, Oliver was named in the West Lancs League's Premier Division Team of the Year, chosen by clubs and managers.
