Runcorn Linnets assistant manager Rob Sadler is swapping football boots for running shoes in aid of a children's cancer charity.
Rob aim to raise £1,000 from his participation in this year's Great Manchester Run.
His efforts will benefit Holly's Hearts, which supports children and young people living with cancer, their loved ones and carers by offering gifts, experiences and respite breaks for affected families.
The charity was set up by Mark and Jenny Prince in memory of their daughter, Holly.
Rob and Linnets manager Brad Cooke are friends of the family.
The 10k run takes place on Sunday, May 18th.
All donations will be welcomed by Rob.
